Utah Farm Bureau issued the following announcement on Jan. 2.
Utah Farm Bureau and USU Extension are co-sponsoring the Utah Hay & Forage Symposium, February 5-7 at the Dixie Center in St. George.
The two-day seminar begins Wednesday the 6th at 9 a.m. and concludes Thursday at 12 noon. Attendees will hear from speakers from various universities and other professionals in the forage industry. Conference registration will be $100, with a discount for those who also register for the FUSION Conference. Continuing Education (CEU) and CEA credits will be available.
A hotel room block has been arranged at the Best Western Abbey Inn, located at 1129 S. Bluff St. in St. George. Call for reservations under the ‘Farm Bureau Block” at 435-652-1234.
There will be a pre-conference workshop February 5th at Hardy Farms in Logandale, Nevada. Registration for the pre-conference will be limited to the first 110 registrants.
