About 42.2 percent of the 232 degrees and certificates handed out by the University of Phoenix-Utah in 2016-17 were to students in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private for-profit institution in City conferred 65 bachelor's degrees and 32 master's degrees in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services programs.

But the single most popular program was for a master's degree in Mental Health Counseling/Counselor. Data shows the school gave out 46 master's degrees in Mental Health Counseling/Counselor, followed by 45 bachelor's degrees in Business Administration and Management, General and 31 master's degrees in Counselor Education/School Counseling and Guidance Services.

The university enrolled 531 students for 2016-17, including 245 in undergraduate programs and 286 in graduate programs.
