ARIIX issued the following announcement on Dec. 17.
ARIIX, an international opportunity company that promotes healthy, toxin-free living, is pleased to announce the addition of Christophe Llamas to the ARIIX Athletes Council. The Athletes Council is comprised of knowledgeable professionals who are committed to broadening the company’s understanding and ability to provide safe, pure and effective supplements catering to the nutritional needs of athletes — consumers with the highest level of nutritional demands.
Consistently ranked among the top triathletes and deca triathletes in the world, Llamas has chartered a life course that has spanned overcoming health issues as a young child, serving his country as a military specialist, and living his passion competing among the top athletes of the world.
Born in 1971 in Lézignan-Corbières, France, Llamas served in the French military from 1991 to 2007, including five years in French Special Forces and four years officially representing the army as a top athlete. He has completed more than 200 triathlons. Llamas and his wife Adeline have five children and reside in Aix-en-Provence, where he works as a sports and triathlon coach in between training for his next competition. He is now actively preparing for the 2020 Deca Triathlon World Championship.
“I reached my personal ‘Everest’ in 2004 by completing my first deca triathlon, which consists of 38 km of swimming (the equivalent of crossing the English Channel), 1,800 km of bicycling (half of a Tour de France) and 422 km of running (the equivalent of 10 marathons), all in just under 11 days,” said Llamas. “The ARIIX Athletes Council fulfills my desire to support a value that is very important to me: health.”
“Christophe Llamas’ personal experience and dedication to helping others overcome obstacles and become their best self through health, nutrition and discipline is inspiring,” said Deanna Latson, ARIIX Chief Product Officer. “We are pleased to welcome him to the Athletes Council and look forward to his contributions.”
