Cost of college was unchanged for all students at the American Beauty Academy


Tuition and fees were unchanged for 2018-19 at the American Beauty Academy, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Utah students paid $15,000 to attend the private for-profit school this year – $1,500 more than the $13,500 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 90 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 9 students received grants or scholarships totaling $33,992 and 9 students took out student loans totaling more than $65,963.

Including all undergraduates (32), 18 students used grants or scholarships totaling $79,560, and 18 students took out $143,297 in federal student loans.
